A Year From Now You'll Wish You Started Today

my story here + more progress pictures here

I can't believe more than a year has passed since I made the decision to be serious about changing my lifestyle! I remember that day like it was yesterday... coming home from Costco after buying a P90x DVD set, taking my "before" photos, then thinking to myself "well, it's already late and i'm tired from work so i'll start this journey tomorrow" and then realizing that that excuse was exactly how i got to where i was... "tomorrow" kept getting delayed.

That day started the road to completing 1.5 rounds of P90x then learning how to lift heavy weights and finally understanding the importance of a proper diet. There are still many goals I have yet to reach but I'm so glad that this year, I can look back without wishing I started a year ago.

Drop the excuses. Drop the deep fried butter ball on a stick.
START TODAY.

  3. Congrats on all that you've accomplished! I'm so sporadic with my workouts and healthy eating habits - I really need to just commit to a healthy lifestyle!

  4. You look amazing! This is so inspirational.

I totally agree that diet is a HUGE part and it's honestly the part that gives me the most trouble. If you'd ever do a "what I eat" type post, I'd love to read!

  5. Amen to that quote- so simple yet so powerful! The thing with excuses is that ultimately, we are only fooling ourselves and lord knows we aint no fools ;)! Your transformation is admirable, Kym and I can't help but applaud your efforts...you're an inspiration to many, including me!
