My New Found Passion

Lately, i've been asking myself "who IS this person?" This person who is spending hours experimenting in the kitchen, researching new recipes to try, looking at cookware for fun, and home making as many things as possible. Those closest to me are surprised as well because it wasn't a secret that I disliked anything to do with the kitchen. Cooking? What's that? I was the queen of frozen pizzas, boxed pastas, canned soups and using the microwave!
I guess this new love was born out of my commitment to living a healthier lifestyle. I still wanted to enjoy sweets, treats, and all my favourites and now I can do that guilt free because I know all the ingredients being used and how much of it is being used. It's kind of a fun challenge too... turning foods labeled unhealthy into something that's healthier.

In summary...

being healthy doesn't have to be boring
and
try something new, it could turn into a new passion!

  3. Love it! All those treats look delicious. I've been doing the same; pastries and sweets are my weak spot and so it's fun trying to find the healthier recipes that still taste delicious :) Recently did banana bread and onto trying to figure out healthier white chocolate macadamia cookies :9
